Mentoring

There are a variety of tools that enable personal and professional growth. One of the most potent is personal mentoring as it’s completely tailored to meet a person’s individual needs, progress at their own pace, and support them with S.M.A.R.T. goals.

As a mentor, I specialise in work with committed people who yearn to:

  • Make their personal lives more rewarding
  • Professionally achieve greater fulfilment
  • Become more fully who they really are

Mentoring with me will suit you if you want to:

  • Learn to live more authentically
  • Ease any fears, self-doubt and disturbing inner talk
  • Experience more self-confidence, self-esteem and sense of worth
  • Discover a new personal or professional direction
  • Make your current work more rewarding

How it Works

Mentoring starts with three sessions that take place during the first four to six weeks of working together. Clients then continue with 1 - 4 sessions a month, depending on their needs and preferences.

Sessions take place primarily face-to face for the initial 3 sessions and can continue by phone, with some meetings in person for clients who prefer it.

Mentoring includes:

  • 45 minute coaching sessions
  • Action steps to take between sessions
  • Email support as required between sessions

Most clients and I find our work naturally concludes after 3-9 months, when they are on a clear, high-momentum path to achieving their goals, or have successfully navigated the transition they sought mentoring around. Some clients choose to continue with periodic mentoring as a source for support for the next phase of their lives.

Wisdom Living

Mentoring is not looking to someone to motivate you to do the things you don’t want to do but believe you should. Nor is it having an specialist giving you advice.

Mentoring is having someone accompany you as you discern your ambitions, attend to the challenges that need your immediate attention and find a sustainable path to get there.
